On Monday, Tummala Nageswara Rao, the minister of agriculture, said that 4,41,911 landholding farmers in 577 villages, 563 mandals, and 32 districts had their bank accounts credited with ₹569 crore. 9,48,333 acres are covered by the investment support offered under the Rythu Bharosa plan. According to him, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy introduced the plan on Sunday, and on Monday, farmers’ bank accounts received the money that was made available on Sunday. The initial distribution of the ₹6,000 per acre of land under cultivation to the farmers was made to one revenue village per mandal.

According to the Minister, there would be more villages than mandals because the money would be disbursed revenue-by-revenue, and certain revenue-revenue villages would have several villages. The Rythu Bharosa initiative was introduced as promised before the elections, and it will eventually be made available to all eligible landholding farmers. The minister provided district-by-district information, stating that 6,411 farmers in 21 villages across 17 mandals in the Adilabad district had their bank accounts credited with ₹14.49 crore.
